Santhi Ganesh, MD

Santhi Ganesh is a physician-scientist with clinical sub-specialization in cardiology and vascular medicine, and her research focuses  on the molecular and genetic basis of vascular diseases.

Dr. Ganesh completed her medical training at the University of Michigan (Internal Medicine Residency) and Johns Hopkins University (Cardiology Fellowship), after which she trained for six years as a postdoctoral research fellow at the National Institutes of Health [National Heart Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI) and National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI)] and the Johns Hopkins Institute of Genetic Medicine to train in vascular biology and human genetics.

Dr. Ganesh has secured funding from the National Institutes of Health and private foundations, including the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, to support her research.
